José Joaquim Emerico Lobo de Mesquita

He is considered by many as one of the most prominent composers of the "Escola Mineira" (Mineira School). Copies of his works were preserved in almost all music archives in Minas Gerais and oter states, which gives us an idea of his importance during his time. All of his works are essentially vocals (solo or choir), religious and many of them with an orchestral accompaniment. Birth: Brasil Serro MG, 1746
